Lock band for band weaving

Description

Band lock for attaching weaving band to the weaver’s waist. A simple bar and hook arrangement. Allows the weaver to tension the warp from a fixed point with the body. Hooks onto belt around weaver’s waist. Belt not supplied. More suited to weaving broader bands than the ring locks provided in the tablet weaving kits.

Made from ash offcuts, untreated.

11 x 4 x 1.7 cm / 4.5 x 1.5 x 3/4 inches

Space between hooks : 9cm / 3.5″.

Can be used to tension tablet and inkle weaving.
